The spectroscope has a collimator optical system (231) to collimate light coming out from an optical fiber, and a spectroscopic unit (230) to disperse the collimated light. A detector has a set of detector components disposed in direction of dispersion to detect the light dispersed by the spectroscopic unit. A focusing optical system focuses signal light from the spectroscopic unit onto a detecting surface of the detector.
