The combined weather and pressure protection system for the air inlet and outlet openings of vehicles, especially high speed trains, has first base elements (1) and third separating element row fixed in the outer frame of the separating grid, and the second separating element row (3) of correspondingly trough-form separating elements is relatively offset and adjustable until fully closed there-between. The sealing edges of the base elements are provided with elastic sealing strips.
