The device has a ring-shaped closed belt (11) and two carriers (12, 13) that are connected with the belt at a cross-over point (20). An adjusting unit of the belt adjusts the dimension of the belt such that the belt surrounds a door leaf. The carriers are attached at an outer surface of the door leaf by Velcro fasteners (14, 15), where the carriers are placed vertically over the door leaf.
