Injection molding machine has a mold closing unit (1) with guide beams (2-2'") for the clamping plates (3) holding the half-molds clamped in their alignment. A mold change mechanism (20) has a transport system to transfer the molds into the molding zone where they are clamped and unclamped rapidly which has at least one moving mold clamp plate (5) from a mounting position to clamp the molds into a working position to be adapted at the injection jet of the injection molding machine.
