The electric toothbrush has a cleaning body (12) with bristles (13) to clean the upper and lower teeth simultaneously. The cleaning body is rotated by an electromotor (3) within a housing (2), shaped as a pistol grip (1). The body has a U-shape, in cross section, with two vertical legs and a horizontal base to take the complete row of teeth between the horizontal base and the vertical legs. Nominal fracture points (14) allow the body to be shortened.
