The device for the fastening of an exhaust gas manifold on a cylinder head, whereby the manifold has a flange (1) with holes (3) for fastening elements (10). The fastening elements have a shank which conforms to the holes in the cylinder head, and a hook-form head with a wedge-form lower edge. The holes in the flange correspond in shape and size to the hook-form head, and have guide bevels (4) conforming to the wedge-form lower edge.
