The device is for the fastening of an exhaust manifold to a cylinder head, whereby the exhaust manifold has flange (1) with openings (4) for exhaust gas, holes (3) for fastening elements, and manifold pipes (2). The cylinder head is equipped with studbolts (5) which align with the holes for the fastening elements. The studbolts have a head (7), and the fastening holes have the shape of a keyhole. A spring element (6) is located between the flange and studbolt head.
