Carpet finishing process with enlarged outer margin folded under and bonded using computer numerical control

In a process to manufacture a carpet the carpet material is trimmed with an extra wide margin that is folded double under the carpet and bonded. Further claimed is that the folded outer margin forms no stress concentration or detent arising from the fold. The carpet rear face is finished with prior art shears. The outer margin receives an anti-slip treatment. The carpet outer margin is finished by CNC controlled machines.
