Radio frequency identification tag carrying label applying method involves connecting a tag with an antenna to an integrated circuit including a receiver and a transmitter. A stroke has a surface which is equal to a tag surface, and the tag is applied along and offset from the stroke. The stroke is folded towards the tag and is applied over the tag to cover a label (2). The stroke is determined, to extend along a border of the label. An independent claim is also included for an object provided with a label having a tag comprising an antenna connected to an integrated circuit.
