The transponder has a chip (1) arranged on a chip carrier (4), which has a passage (10) assigned to the chip. An antenna (2) has a passage (11) assigned to an end region and a terminal unit of the antenna. Connecting units (9) are guided through the passages and are flexibly formed as copper filament. The connecting units sew together the end region of the antenna and the terminal unit of the antenna and/or the chip and the antenna.
