The adjuster has a frame (1) that supports the adjuster. Two pivotal clamps are provided, which cross each other like a pair of scissors. One of the linearly displaceable slides for pivoting one of the clamps is assigned to the clamp. The slides are arranged in a scissor area of the clamp such that the slides are supported for adjusting one of the clamps with respect to other clamp. The clamps are coupled by a hinge. The slides are movable by an electric motor drive.
