Each workstation has first and second connections and a video graphics adapter (VGA) throw-over switch wired between these connections. A control wire between these connections bypasses the VGA throw-over switch. Two adjacent workstations (2,2*) each link via a first cable (3) transmitting analog signals. An independent claim is also included for a workstation for a network made up of multiple workstations with a communications link.
