The twine (200) has polymer optical fibers along the twine for guiding light. A monochrome light emitting diode is provided as a light source, which is operable using a battery and/or solar cell. Traction units are provided to the optical fibers for partly receiving the tractive forces exerted by an article e.g. tent (1). The optical fibers are fastened to the traction units using a set of straps.
