A cider-containing alcoholic drink comprising a mixture of various alcoholic drinks, one of which is cider (where the term 'cider' includes similar drinks derived from fruit other than apples) and another of which is beer, is new. Independent claims are included for: (1) alternative cider-based alcoholic drink, consisting of ca. 25 vol. % cider, ca. 25 vol. % beer and 50 vol. % lemonade; or (2) alternative cider-based alcoholic drink, consisting of 30-70 vol. % apple-cherry wine and 30-70 vol. % lemonade.
