A tool pin (21,24,25), for mold tool comprising shaping mold part defining mold cavity(s) and having indentation(s) for receiving rod-form tool pin formed from high thermal conductivity material, has casing region (44,50,51) of steel with axial boreholes (28,29,30) in which pin core (31,32,33) of high thermal conductivity material is inserted, with outer surface of pin core bonded in permanent, gap-free manner with inner surface of pin casing.
