Product storage system for pipe bending machines (14, 16) comprises two chutes (42, 44) mounted one above the other, on which the pipes are laid. Each chute is fitted with a stop. Independent claims are included for: (A) Pipe bending machines fitted with the chutes and a transfer system for passing pipes to them; and (B) a system for producing pipeline units in which pipes are bent into two different formats, each of which is transferred to its own chute.
