The add-on device for especially forklift stackers, has guides (5-8) upon which four or more load-supporting devices (1-4), especially fork tines, are movably guided on the side. The outer load-supporting devices (1,4) can be moved relatively to one another by means of hydraulic cylinders (9,10). The inner load-supporting devices (2,3) are connected to the frame of the device by extension springs (11,12) and through stop points or comparable devices are moved outwards against the force of the extension springs by the outer load-supporting devices upon reaching a pre-established distance from the outer load-supporting devices.
