Access ladder for upper bunk bed has pull out mounting from under the bunk frame

A compact access ladder for an upper bunk bed, especially for in a vehicle or trailer has a pull out mounting from a horizontal storage position parallel to and under the bunk frame (3). The top end of the ladder (4) is secured by hinges to a pull out rail. This enables the user to pull out the ladder and position it beside the bunk without encroaching greatly on the access space past the bunks. The pull out rail has a C or X cross section and is telescopic.
