An adjustable swivel element can be locked in different angular positions by means of an elastic locking bar (15a) fitting into cavities. The locking bar forms one arm of an unlocking linkage of bars (15) consisting of an angled lever. The locking bar crosses the center lengthwise axis of the agricultural appliance. The second arm (15b) of the linkage is staggered sideways in relation to the center lengthwise axis of the appliance.
