The invention concerns a method for localizing a chemical or biological species on a substrate, a textured substrate (1) and an analyzing microsystem and a biochip. The method includes the following steps: providing a substrate (S); depositing on at least one surface of the substrate a layer of a material of formula (a) SiOSUBx/SUBCSUBy/SUB:H wherein 0,7 = x = 1,3 and 1,5 = y = 2; decomposing by ultraviolet treatment at least one localized zone of the material of formula (a) deposited in a material of formula (ß) SiOSUBx1/SUBCSUBy1/SUB:H wherein 1,7 = x1 = 2,5 and 0,1 = y1 = 0,4; and contacting said localized zones of the material of formula (ß) with a solution of the chemical or biological species.
