The method involves assigning a reference in an initial message transmitted by a client (A) and storing the reference in a memory in correspondence to an identifier of the client. The reference in a header of a response message transmitted by mobile multimedia messaging service terminal (B), is read for determining the identifier of the client. The response message is transmitted to the client.
