The device has floats (1) equipped with ballasts (4) and a turbine (2) totally immersed along a longitudinal axle with respect to current, and with trash racks or deflectors arranged in its front side. The immersed turbine is placed opposed to the current, where the axle is directly connected to a generator (3). The turbine is adjusted in height by utilizing vertical slides (5).
