Treatment of gas associated with a crude hydrocarbon liquid (I) exiting an offshore oil field (II) in which the treatment of the associated gas (Ia), comprises a producing a synthesis gas (Ib) comprising hydrogen and carbon monoxide of (Ia); treating (Ib) by Fischer-Tropsch reaction, using a source of oxygen coming at least from a unit of adsorption modulated under vacuum, to give liquid hydrocarbon (Ic); and mixing the (Ic) and (I).
