The method involves depositing wood materials in an enclosure. The air contained in the enclosure is stirred. A marking substance, presenting a symbolic aspect for performing antiparasite treatment, is introduced in the circulating air such that the substance moves in suspension in the air for being diffused on a zone of an outer surface of the materials. An independent claim is also included for a marking substance for wood materials, to be used in the implementation of a wood material marking method.
