The device has a respiratory system model constituted of a trachea (12), a bronchus, a pulmonary bag (11) connected to a thoracic cage formed of a movable heating resistor (7) and a diaphragm activated by a mechanical system. The components constituting the model are managed by a computer system (2) which simulates a cardiac echo and pulse at an enclosure and controls the temperature of the device.
