The method involves continuously measuring, in function of time, electrical resistivity of a solid porous sample (S) and differential pressure between two ends of the sample. The fluid output volume displaced at stabilization bearings is measured, and a relation between the resistivity and the volume is estimated. A continuous curve is established for the volume in function of time from the relation. Flow parameters are estimated using a digital flow simulator from continuous measurement of the pressure and the curve. An independent claim is also included for a device for executing multi-rate displacement experiment on a solid porous sample.
