PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration agitation type grinding cleaning machine which is an improved grinding cleaning machine, dispenses with a revolving member (e.g. an endless belt), protects an object to be ground from being pinched by the revolving member, is small in size, light in weight, and low in cost, and allows ground workpieces to be safely and easily discharged, and to provide a vibration agitation type grinding cleaning method.;SOLUTION: According to the structure of the grinding cleaning machine, a vibrator 15 is set in a drum 10 in which a number of objects 16 to be ground are charged. When the vibrator 15 is activated, the drum 10 is vibrated, and the objects 16 to be ground in the drum are circulated and agitated as indicated by arrows c, c', d and e. In this state, when a grinding material is projected from above as indicated by arrows (b), the objects to be ground are uniformly ground and cleaned. The drum 10 is set on a tilting base 11 via springs 14, and made tiltable about an axis 12.
