PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the burning of an inverter transformer even in case that bad solder such as solder fracture occurs in an inverter transformer which is manufactured by the use of lead free solder for soldering of an electric circuit.;SOLUTION: This controller 4 for an inverter transformer 2, which boosts the input voltage V₁ applied to the primary side from a DC power source 1 and outputs AC from the secondary side, is composed of a feedback controller 11 which controls the DC power source 1, based on a load current I₂ outputted from the secondary side of the inverter transformer 2, a supply power detector 12 which detects the supply power P₁ to the primary side of the inverter transformer 2, the first comparator 13 which compares the supplied power P₁ detected with the supply power detector 12 with a first threshold Pth and generates a first error signal E1, based on this comparison result, and an inverter transformer protector 17 which stops the power supply to the primary side of the inverter transformer 2, based on the first error signal E1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
