PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving gear or the like capable of keeping a battery in a satisfactory condition. PSOLUTION: A value N2 smaller than a value N1 in a usual time is set as a decrease rate Ndn in rate processing, when a battery temperature Tb is a threshold value Tref or more in case of decreasing an engine speed, the rate processing is also executed therein using the set decrease rate Ndn to set a target engine speed NeSP*/SP(S160, S170), and a torque command Tm1SP*/SPto be output from a motor MG1, based on the set target engine speed NeSP*/SP(S190). Electric power generated in the motor MG1 is thereby restrained when decreasing the engine speed by the motor MG1, to restrain the battery from being charged with the relatively large electric power.
