MEDICAL RADIATION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SETTING PHOTOGRAPHING REFERENCE POSITION IN MEDICAL RADIATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate setting a photographing reference position for each subject, and to facilitate comparison between old and new slice images with time difference which are photographed on an identical position.;SOLUTION: In a medical radiation apparatus, laser beam 11 is emitted from a laser beam emitting device 10 positioned in alignment with irradiation position of radiation, and a top plate 5 is moved so as to position a subject P in the irradiation position of radiation. By doing so, the position where the top plate is located when a photodetector 12 detects that the laser beam is blocked by the top of the head or the tip of the leg of the subject is set as a photographing reference position. With such a configuration, a reference position is set uniquely and easily for each subject irrespective of the differences of the postures or heights of subjects and a scan position is determined clearly on the basis of the reference position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
