PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a center line formation device and a center line formation method of a belt-like pattern, and a program for realizing the center line formation method for determining accurately the center line of the belt-like pattern.;SOLUTION: A punching device 10 for determining the center line 25a of the belt-like pattern 12a formed on a flexible substrate 12 is provided with: a CCD camera 14; and an electric control device 20. The CCD camera 14 photographs the belt-like pattern 12a, while forming a plurality of image processing frames 23 along the longitudinal direction of the belt-like pattern 12a. The electric control device 20 finds the center point 24 or the like of an edge part 23a or the like of the belt-like patterns 12a, 12b in each image processing frame 23 photographed by the CCD camera 14, finds an approximate straight line 25 from the center point 24 or the like, also finds the distance from the center point 24 or the like to an ideal straight line 26 when the angle between the approximate straight line 25 and the ideal straight line 26 is over a prescribed value, and executes repeatedly processing for finding again an approximate straight line 26 by removing a center point 24a having the longest distance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
