PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform two-way message transmission by asynchronous communication.;SOLUTION: An automatic mail answering system is equipped with a Web camera device 10 and a patrol lamp device 20 as automatic mail answering devices which automatically answer based on an execution request described in received e-mail, and a mail delivery server 30 for delivering e-mail between the Web camera device 10 and the patrol lamp device 20. The Web camera device 10 and the patrol lamp device 20 determine whether or not received e-mail is against restrictions, extract an execution request from e-mail not against the restrictions, execute actions according to the extracted execution request, take a source address described in the e-mail not against the restrictions as an address for replying, generate reply e-mail attached with an answer message based on state contents executed or abnormal contents, and transmit the generated reply e-mail to the address for replying.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
