TELEPHONE COMMUNICATION METHOD USING INTERNATIONAL DIAL FORMAT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone communication method using an international dial format.;SOLUTION: This method includes existing dial systems and thus allows an international traveler to use the international dial format to dial to a telephone set at a site. The communication method includes the steps of: first receiving a dial code; discriminating, at a telephone exchange of the PSTN, whether or not a start end of the dial code is an IDD header code; using the original method to dial a local call and a long distance call if not; comparing the start end with a site country code if so; regarding the call to be an international phone call if unmatched; dialing a local call or a long distance call by the international telephone format if matched; furthermore comparing the start end with an area code; regarding the call to be a local code when matched; and regarding the call to be a long distance call if unmatched.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
