PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new synthetic method by cross-coupling between an alkyne and an alkene using a palladium catalyst.;SOLUTION: A synthetic method of a β-(alkenyl)ethylchlorosilane that comprises causing an acetylene derivative having one triple bond to react with an ethylene derivative having one double bond in the presence of [(η3-C3H5)PdA]+[PF6]- (wherein A is 1,5-cyclooctadiene, an aromatic isocyanide or an N-heterocyclic carbene) and adding chlorohydrosilane is provided.
