PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for estimating turbulence atmospheric condition at a flight cruising route 14, which can overcome problems in calculating capability and data storage of an aircraft system. PSOLUTION: This invention relates to a method and system for optimizing an aircraft cruising route, a method and system for observing environmental conditions and a method and system for estimating turbulence atmospheric condition at the aircraft cruising route. Information of atmospheric condition is collected by a sensor 12 of an aircraft 10. This information is processed together with information of atmospheric condition that is collected and processed by an external source of information (a satellite 18 and atmospheric information collecting facility 16), and then the former is displayed for the pilot of the aircraft. With this operation, a forward turbulence pattern estimated on a real time and a proposal for updating the present pre-set aircraft cruising route (tSB0/SB) are alarmed to the pilot.
