PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Chinese yam transporting and storing package capable of transporting the Chinese yams from an area of production to an area of consumption without reducing the weight thereof while keeping the natural appearance immediately after the harvest, and storing the Chinese yams for a long time.;SOLUTION: Chinese yams 10 are arranged in a plurality of stages in a non-water-permeable container body 2. Cut pieces 4 obtained from an open cell flexible polyurethane foam are filled in the container body 2.
