PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium for a navigation apparatus with which the navigation apparatus can divide a screen, on which maps are displayed, and displays a plurality of maps having a different content of information simultaneously so that a user can get much geographic information at once. ;SOLUTION: In a navigation apparatus, when a search for an alternate route is ordered (STEP SL4), the search for an alternate route is performed (STEP SL8). Then, the division of the display screen is performed (STEP SL10). On a second screen, which is one of the divided screens, a guide route searched at the Nth place is displayed and on a third screen a guide route at the (N-1) search is displayed (STEP SL12).
