Wicket method and automatic ticket gate apparatus

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly and surely eject and insert the laminated body of a plurality of overlapped tickets by making a ticket collecting/introducing roller movable, and using a ticket collecting path and a ticket discharging path for carrying a single non-overlapped ticket. ;SOLUTION: The ticket collecting/introducing roller 62 is made movable to smoothly introduce and carry tickets to the ticket collecting path 218 regardlessly of the number of the sheets (thickness) of the tickets. Namely a movable tension roller 202 is provided in the belt 194 of the path 218 for carrying plural tickets and a batch discharging path 216 to surely carry the laminated body different in ticket paper thickness dependent of the number of the tickets. Thus, when plural overlapped tickets are gripped by a grip roller, the tension roller 202 is escaped to open a gap between belts 174 and 194, then gripping force is secured regardlessly of the number of the sheets (thickness) of the tickets to surely carry the tickets.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
