PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new yeast for fermenting rice bran, capable of stimulating the fermentation of the rice bran, enabling the fermentation to be finished in a short period, and enabling a fermentation product of the rice bran with a good quality to be mass-produced; to provide a method for fermenting the rice bran; and to provide the fermentation product of the rice bran. PSOLUTION: The new yeast for fermenting the rice bran is the yeast of Pichia farinose RB-6L strain (FERM P-18799) belonging to the genus Pichia having stimulatory of the fermentation of the rice bran.
