PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause a slave unit to send consecutive transmission frames from a communication terminal to a master unit without delay at high speed in a half-duplex optical wireless communication system which requires a sequence of transmission permission for half-duplex optical wireless communication.;SOLUTION: When the slave unit 3 receives a frame destined for the slave unit 3 from the communication terminal 4 within a second predetermined period after the master unit 1 performs the sequence of permitting the slave unit 3 to make optical transmission to the master unit 1, the slave unit 3 generates a suppressed dummy signal to urge the terminal 4 to once suspend the transmission of the frame and retransmit the frame, and transmits it to the communication terminal 4. In addition, the slave unit 3 continuously transmits a plurality of frames in a single transmission procedure to the master unit 1 after the permission of continuous transmission is obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
