PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even a general person in charge on the side of a shop to construct a data base from article photographing and to arbitrarily retrieve and utilize article information with image made into data base by photographing an article with high picture quality exhibiting the attraction of the article to a maximum easily even for anybody. SOLUTION: When series of photographing conditions are arbitrarily selected by a client terminal CTC for manager, the photographing condition of a photographing device CAM is automatically adjusted so as to be matched with these series of photographing conditions. In such a state, when the article information with image is prepared while combining the image of article photographing and character information, it is uploaded to the center side and registered in the data base. When there is a read request from a client, that information is retrieved from the data base by a data base server DSR and downloaded to the client of request source. The client terminal CTC, which receives this information, displays/prints out the article information with image in a prescribed output format.
