The geometry of the holder (4) for the crate (20) and the coupling mechanisms for securing the holder to the crate and rack (1) is chosen so that the crate is secured to the rack with the aid of the weight of the crate, i.e. the weight of the crate contents is transmitted to the first coupling mechanism for securing the holder to the rack via the holder itself and the second coupling mechanism for securing the holder to the crate. The first coupling mechanism is provided on one side of the holder and intended to releasably secure it to the rack, whilst the second coupling mechanism is on the other side and intended to releasably secure the holder to the crate via a handle hole (3) in one of the crate side walls (2). Once the coupling mechanisms have been secured to the rack and crate the latter is prevented from moving sideways relative to the rack.
