The device has a slab (1) fixed to a vehicle floor, and a column (2) attached to a swivel arm (4), where the arm is positioned directly behind a wheelchair. A base plate is attached to the vehicle floor or other part of a vehicle i.e. car. The arm is linked to a back protection (6), a shoulder protection (7) and a head protection (8) that are provided on the slab. The column has a mechanism in which the column is lockable in different positions. An independent claim is also included for a combination of a back-shoulder-head-protection placing device and a pivot.
