The security lock and the cylinder (1) lock involve a plate for incorporation in the security lock. The cylinder lock is in a first cylinder hole and the plate (3a-9) has a second cylinder hole which the cylinder lock encloses. The cylinder lock between the lock case (4) and the plate, at least locally, is larger than the second cylinder hole. Measures are also provided for the adaptation of a cylinder lock and a plate to a security lock. In places, the cylinder lock is provided with an enlargement of its periphery in the form of plate material. The peripheral enlargement consistgs of plate material. The enlargement of the periphery in the direciton of the outer end of the cylinder lock reduces. The cylinder lock is provided with a tapped hole, in which a screw with a head is screwed as an enlargement of the periphery of the cylinder lock.
