METHOD FOR DETECTION OF VERTEBROBASILAR INSUFFICIENCY IN PATIENTS WITH SENSORINEURAL HEARING LOSS

The method for the detection of the vertebrobasilar insufficiency in the patients with the sensorineural hearing loss provides for measuring the parameters of the assay for the dissociation of the acoustic reflex of the ear muscles. These parameters are compared with the data of rheoencephalography, in particular the value of the rheographic index. When the dissociation of the acoustic reflex amounts to (81.43 9.21)% and (82.18 9.65)% respectively for ipsi- and contralateral stimulation by 1.0 Hz tone and rheographic index is less than (0,9 0,03) arbitrary units, the vertebrobasilar insufficiency is suggested.
