Process for the decolorization of effluents and / or for the degradation of xenobiotic products with white rot fungi, comprising at least one stage of contacting, in a stirred and aerated reactor, substantially spherical biomass agglomerations of the white rot fungus with the effluent, keeping the fungus under controlled growth conditions. The stage of contacting the white rot fungi with the effluent is carried out in a reactor equipped with three different sections and where the biomass is fluidized by air pulses.
