Modeling and transformer analysis method. The transformer analysis method allows the maintenance of transformers based on the analysis of their frequency response. The proposed method is included in the predictive maintenance techniques and is based on the modeling of the transformer by means of a set of cells or quadrupoles for each winding and by an ideal transformer. The observation of variations over time of the value of the parameters of the cells allows a physical interpretation of the internal state of the transformer. The comparison of the current values can be made with respect to previous values of the same transformer, with respect to values taken in other phases of the transformer or with respect to the values of other transformers of the same design.
