The invention relates to a bushing for fixing a fitting (4) to a hollow profile (7) which is provided with a projecting profiled part (10), by means of a fixing means penetrating the fitting (4). A gap (12) is formed between the profiled part (10) forming the bearing surface (16) of the fitting (4), and the wall (11) of the hollow profile (7). The bushing rests on an axial bearing surface (30) and is oriented against the fitting (4), from the hollow profile (7), and the fixing means mates with a recess of the bushing, said bushing penetrating the gap (12) and engaging with the hollow profile (7). The bushing (1) comprises at least one external screw thread (13), by which means it penetrates the front wall (16) of the profiled part (10) and the wall (11).
