A bat guano collection device for suspension under a bat roostingsite is disclosed. The bat guano collection device consists of a frame ofmembers spaced to permit the passage of water through the frame. The framehas an open upper portion and a lower central portion. A water permeablesheet material supported by the frame members provides an interior surfacethat is angled downwardly and inwardly from the open upper portion andtowards the lower central portion of the frame. An opening is located in thecentral lower portion of the frame along with a corresponding portion of thewater permeable sheet material to permit the outflow of bat guano from thedevice. The frame members and the water permeable sheet material areconfigured so that as the bat guano falls onto the interior surface, it isdirectedunder gravity through the opening.
