The present invention relates to the enzyme Integron integrase, and moreparticularly tothe crystal structure of a complex of integron integrase from Vibrio cholerae(VchIntIA)bound to a recombination substrate (VCRbs). The invention further relates tothiscrystalline structure and its use in the field of DNA recombination and in thedesign andproduction of antibiotics and gene manufacture tools.
